Clearmount President David Plummer inducted into the PPPC Hall of Fame
Clearmount is thrilled to announce that our President, David Plummer, has been inducted into the Promotional Product Professionals of Canada (PPPC) Hall of Fame.
The industry association for suppliers and distributors of promotional products, PPPC is the voice of the promotional products industry in Canada. Since 1956, only 34 members have been inducted into its Hall of Fame. It is particularly special for David, since inductees are nominated by their peers and voted on by a panel of previous Hall of Famers.
“I am both honoured and humbled to be inducted into the Hall of Fame for the PPPC. After working in the industry for 29 years, it is wonderful to be honoured by my peers in the industry,” says Plummer. “I have made many friends and met many promotional experts over the years and it has been wonderful to be part of this great industry.”
David, who has his MAS (Master Advertising Specialist) from PPAI and P.Eng from Queen’s University, has been part of the promotional products industry for 29 years. He is an industry leader and mentor, having progressed through the industry both by growing Clearmount and by supporting industry organizations, most notably as Chairman of PPPC in the year 2000.
David will receive his official induction and award (including a giant framed photo of his face!) on February 11th, 2018 at PPPC’s National Convention Image Awards ceremony. At the event, which is the organization’s largest tradeshow of the year, Clearmount will also receive four Image Awards for their capabilities in design and printing. Clearmount has been a member of PPPC since 1966 and is the recipient of numerous Image Awards over the years.
We couldn’t be prouder of David, and can honestly say that this induction into the PPPC Hall of Fame is well deserved.
